Often watch TV making blood pleasure up!



Too much watch TV not only causes the child's body fat increases, also affect blood pressure condition. They found obese children to television viewing for four hours or more in three times a day would be at risk of developing high blood pressure than children who view television less than two hours a day.

"This is a significant relationship between television viewing and the causes of obesity and hypertension in children," said researchers from the University of California San Diego Dr. Jeffrey Schwimmer in the Journal of Preventive Medicine.

Several studies have found a strong relationship between television viewing and obesity. However, this is the first study to show the relationship between the seen watching television with blood pressure in obese children and adolescents.

As the increase of obesity in children, increases the risk of heart disease and diabetes. Vice versa, the number of children who have high blood pressure, obesity rates will increase as well.

In children, this condition often undiagnosed high blood pressure and can compress and damage other organs, especially kidneys. Schwimmer using 546 children and teenagers aged four to 17 years in the period 2003-2005. Then between height and weight were measured to determine body mass index or BMI and blood pressure recorded.

In this study, child obesity is said to have a size of 35.5 BMI, and BMI in adults has a size of more than 30. Children of parents fund estimate how much time is spent watching TV, and analysts from the doctor.

Researchers found that children who view television as much as two to four hours a day had a risk 2.5 times higher blood pressure than those who view television less than two hours a day. Meanwhile, children who saw more than four hours a day is likely at risk of developing hypertension by 3.3 times.
