Butter vs. Margarine, Which Is Best?



One time shopping at the supermarket, you may have faced a choice, butter or margarine. Both are capable of cake flavor or cuisine, but both have different amounts of fat calories that certainly will affect your body.

Initially, we thought that margarine was better than butter because it is made from oil and has less saturated fat than butter. We know that saturated fats increase bad cholesterol (low density lipoprotein / LDL), which can increase the risk of heart disease.

Then, we change the assessment because margarine has trans fats. This fat is even worse for your body than saturated fat. Trans fats not only increase your LDL, but also lower the good cholesterol (high density hipoprotein / HDL), which eventually double the trouble for your heart.
