Excessive Drinking Not Disturb Fetus?

Pregnant women sometimes want to drink excessively at night do not need to worry about that desire. The study mentions, drinks too much is still needed at night may not be harmful to the fetus. However, it still takes a lot of evidence to prove the truth of it.
Based on 14 studies revealed that mothers who drink too much during pregnancy will result in learning problems throughout his life. And further research is needed to determine the relationships that occur.
"Only, because it has not found much evidence, it does not mean no effect," said researchers from the University of Oxford epidemiologist Ron Gray. Therefore, this study still needs further verification.
Several studies have linked, namely excessive drinking will cause less resistance development, birth defects and brain development problems.
Still not clear the impact of too much to drink it, which is about five glasses in one gulp. Initially, the researchers identified more than 3,500 research journals between 1970 to 2005 about pregnancy and alcohol. As well as focusing on 14 research journals, namely pregnant women who drink excessively.
They found little evidence of excessive drinking will lead to cases of miscarriage, stillbirth, or excess weight, birth defects such as babies who experience alcohol syndrome.
However, one study said that excessive drinking can cause damage to brain development such as reduced verbal skills, learning problems, and poor academic ability.
"This research will look at pregnant women who drink to excess, but not just in one occasion," wrote the researchers.
In research using animals has shown the negative effects of drinking to excess, it means that pregnant women should not ignore the number of drinks consumed.
