Apparently, Oral Sex Bigger Causes Mouth Cancer

Instead of cigarettes, it was oral sex is supposed to have greater influence in triggering oral cancer in men.

A study found that oral sex and HPV will cause genital warts and cervical cancer in women. This is a major cause of oral cancer in men non-smokers in the United States.

The doctor revealed that cases of oral cancer and HPV virus is the cause of the attack could be a rising epidemic in the United States. These symptoms generally affect the majority of white people, especially the male non-smokers at age 30-40 years.

Formations of tumors in the back of the tongue or tonsils have nothing to do with nicotine. This is directly related to when someone perform oral sex.

"If you have more than five or six sexual partners, then you likely have a higher risk of mouth cancer," said Dr. Eric M. Genden of Mount Sinai Medical, as quoted by the New York Daily News.

"We're just trying to see it from the beginning," he said. According to doctors, women can have chance to get the threat, but its potential is lower than men, such as the Times of India released.

Brian Hill, a manufacturer of medical devices that suffer from oral cancer, founded the Oral Cancer Foundation, and spend their time treating patients, doctors and dentists, as well as promoting the campaign in Washington to raise awareness about the dangers of oral cancer and the threat of HPV.

"Anyone who is old enough and been involved in sexual behaviors known to transmit the virus. Therefore, they are advised to consult at least once every year. It's the only way to detect diseases at an early stage, "he said.

Hill believes many doctors and researchers are still in the blindness of information about the relationship between HPV 16 and oral cancer, although the diagnosis was increased in the last decade.

"We do not know exactly how long the HPV-16 can be implicated or why attack certain people and not others. What we do not know beyond what we know, "he added.

Oral Cancer Foundation and the National Institutes of Health says, almost all Americans who are sexually active will be connected with the threat of HPV.

Center for disease control and prevention, said that HPV is the most common STDs in the United States. Approximately 20 million Americans currently infected with HPV and 6 million people are infected each year.

HPV has the potential to spread through the skin and not the liquid. In addition to contacts through intercourse, oral sex and French kiss can lead to the arrival of the virus.

Reports from British Medical Journal and the research of the institute revealed that the human papillomavirus (HPV) is currently the cause of oral cancer in men and beat the smoking or drinking.
